Why You Should Attend the 2019 Between the Pages Tour

Between the Pages: An Evening with the Scotiabank Giller Prize Finalists will take you inside the minds and creative lives of the writers on the 2019 shortlist including David Bezmozgis, Megan Gail Coles, Michael Crummey, Alix Ohlin, Steven Price and Ian Williams.

The tour will stop in Ottawa (October 16), Halifax (October 18), Vancouver (October 21), Winnipeg (October 23), Toronto (October 28) and New York (October 30).

Hear from the 2019 Scotiabank Giller Prize finalists

These events are designed to introduce you to the Scotiabank Giller Prize finalists and learn more about their nominated books. The authors will read a passage and engage in a lively conversation with the moderator and fellow finalists. Each tour stop will be moderated by literary experts including Jael Richardson, Leslie Hurtig, Rosanna Deerchild, Shelagh Rogers and Parul Sehgal.

Mingle With Other Book Lovers

The Between the Pages tour is a great networking opportunity to mingle with other book lovers in your city. This would be a wonderful evening out with your book club. If you decide to come alone, no problem! You are guaranteed to sit beside someone who is just as excited to be there as you are.

Meet the Authors and Have Your Books Signed

Following the panel, you will have the opportunity to meet the authors and have your books signed. You can bring your own copies or books will be available for purchase. The authors are looking forward to meeting you and taking a photo!
